Job Title: PHP/Laravel Intern
Location: Zincat Technology, Mount Lavinia (Onsite)
Job Type: Internship
Duration: 8.30 AM - 5.30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel
Collaborate with developers and designers to implement user-friendly features
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Debug and fix issues in existing applications
Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data management and queries
Test and deploy applications and systems
Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in Laravel and PHP development
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic understanding of PHP, Laravel, and MVC architecture
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience with Git/GitHub for version control is a plus
Ability to write clean and efficient code
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
Experience working on personal or academic Laravel projects
Familiarity with Blade templating engine
Knowledge of AJAX, jQuery, and Vue.js (optional)
Understanding of authentication and security best practices in web development
